The title, "An Unwise Rest," is based on the folk belief that one should never sleep in a circle of mushrooms, of a faerie circle if you will, lest you be whisked away to the Faerie realm by unkindly fey. The youth rests peacefully beneath a tree bathed in the sun's warm light peaking through the thick forest canopy, blissfully unaware of the unsavory Faerie entity creeping up on him from behind the tree.
