I remember there were even plans to upgrade/update the Tomcats' avionics, aerodynamics, etc. With their top speed and range, they are/were one of the best jets around. Too bad. I loved this jet as well.

It was truely sad to see them go, but Ive got good money if any major crissis arises again, they will be amoung the first to be put back into service.
