Simple shot, taken somewhere on Malta.For some reason I really like it.
It shows most features of the place: tight streets; simple, south european architecture and sun shining all the time.

the white on the ground itself i think is ok, it is what makes the lighting appear harsh; but you need the detail elsewhere.

i find this image a very nice composition with good detail, except near the top where the whites are too...white; detail is lacking which could be restored by burning-in a little, just enough to get the detail back, but not too much that it would not look sunlit.
nothing else to say, it's very good.
