My entry for th radical racer contest/challenge!
Racer is Maggie, Evangeline Magnolia LeBlanc.
Her parents were archaeologists who disappeared. Maggie used to wotk on a retro racing bike with her dad.
Now, she’s racing to gather money and intel to investigate and find her parents.
Her vehicle is a retro hover bike, Cloudchaser.
Her Lucky Charm is the key her parents gave her before disappearing. (Unbeknownst to her, it’s a puzzle with a clue.)
Her Special trick is two ports that fire a grappling hook, or a globe of slick oil or sticky glue from the front or back.

I looked at the vehicle and tricks from an animated perspective. The engine, and side engine as well as the pedals would move giving more animated and dynamic effects. Also the grappling hook, oil slick, and glue would look great in animation in my opinion. The popping of the bubbles releasing their contents, the shot of the hook out to its target where it catches, the rope from from slack to taut and so on.
