One of the biggest headscratchers from TSS for me was "how in the world could Drew NOT find Doyle for 27 years??!''I mean, no offence, your I-own-tibetan-sword-ness, but if MY little brother went missing and I'd know(or at least suspect) that my parents are dead, I'd look for him day and night, without rest, turning the entire world upside down, if I had to (though I'd do that after a month of vacation - that five year old of mine can get really annoying and tiresome
)...Admit it, Drew, you're a bad sister

Drew did look for him for a few years after, but it seemedlike he was dead too, causing her to give up.
The problem with Drew's system of searching,was that she woud need to physically find him, like in what actually happened. Doyle was too young at the time to give anyone who found him any information other than his first name, so the systems put him as a random lost kid and giving him the last name either of whatever famiy became his parents, or a randomly assigned one for convenience. Doyle even said that he was so young at the time he thought he made it all up, and from the flashback he looked three maybe four-ish.
If Drew did an internet search for him, she would have tried using whatever her maiden name is, which would not work as his last name was changed. She could have searched for every guy named Doyle, but there are a lot to go through. With all of these factors it is understandable that they may have never found each other.

That's some valid point you said; I was gonna say that child Doyle knew his surname as well, but when I thought about it, we never knew Drew's surname, so that "Blackwell" could have been invented as you said.

I was mostly going off my own experience on the "little kid not knowing their surname", as I rarely thought of my own until I had to write it on every assignment, and even then I only good with it because it was easy and the same as a famous book character.
Sorry to ruin your story with my logic though. On the bright side, you now know what happened!

She probably meant that she'll destroy the modem, which grants the entire house internet access. But knowing Drew, I'd bet she can allow herself to think of something diabolical enough to destroy the internet globally
