link takin a stroll with the chomp chomp, this is link from wind waker but he walked a chain chomp in links awakening but all well, i love all the zelda games and all the marios so whatever, and chain chomps are my favorite mario enemy...so yay!Related content

Nintendo should have a pet raising game which includes well-known partially sentient enemies, including Chain Chomp. I'd like to raise a Chain Chomp, too.

Love the pic. Reminds me of the times I played Links Awkening. And it was my first Zelda game to own. lol. Too bad the battery in the game died just two months ago. *cries*
Oh Din image if they remade LoZ:LA with the toon style. I would sooooooo love it. I think that style would fit perfectly for it. *and wishing for a OoS/A remake too.*

Gatta love "Bow-wow the dog" from "Link's Awakening." (One of my fave Zeldas.) I remembering thinking as a kid, "looks more like a Chain Chomp from Mario to me." I think I remember seeing Chain Chomps in "A Link to the Past" as well, in the "Turtle Rock" dungeon.
Y'know, the Chain Chomps were based off a childhood expirience of Shigeru Miyamoto's (creator of the Mario & Zelda games) where he encountered a dog with a chain on it's collar, and the dog suddenlly jumps up to stap at his face, butt the chain on it's collar kept him back just a few inches away.

Excellent pic, I really like how you tied a rope to the chain. Funny. I remeber that point in the game, all the enemies in the screen would be devoured instantly. Great Job!

Having a Chompy would be excellent! You might need a HUGE chomphouse (doghouse, but for chomps... I guess), though!

It was named BowWow because of little Mario knowledge from the translators (which also explains why Wart is called Mamu).

there is a particular chompchomp that shows up in games called bowwow, i.e. links awakening, sunshine, and 64 but the thing is called a chompchomp and was used in large numbers first in mario3 for the NES, wich was also the largest selling game ever.....and that game was first showcased to america in the movie the wizard..... so was the nintendo glove....and that periphial failed like the virtual boy that came out after the SNES, but the creator of the virtual boy later created the now popular DS that i fear will fail despite its ingenuity, doesnt have much software......tear.

you want to talk zelda then lets go....but seriously i just love games and know my craft, not just mario....zelda is actually the greatest game franchise in my opinion with ff at a close second...i just like the world so much more than most games....but i am a gamer through and through and i know alot about them....i also own evry zelda title for every platform except the three for the philips cd-i, they dont count because they suck and nintendo didnt make them. ive also beaten them all in under 10 hours, wind waker at a smooth 6.....the second time through of course.....zelda boogie.

I know the Translators, Personally ^^ oh & Betty Kwong......I have played Oracle of Seasons through, twice. it took me 2 hours to finished the first Part of OOT (Till Temple of Time) THE FIRST TIME. ^^ yeah, The CD-i's Stink out loud, How could Nintendo be so stupid? Do you have Bantai Satellaview Zelda? what about MC, Finished that? DYK the Medallions were originally going to be used a disk Weapons?

i dont have the satellview one, i forgot about that, but noone does as far as i can....wasn't it just the first zelda on thgat system instead of the NES? or am i remembering incorrectly? anyway, i have finished MC, i beat it in three days by negating my history class. and i am glad the medalions stayed medalions, i heard they were originally going to give status upgrades like more health and so on, i think they dropped that, it wasnt from an official source anyway, but that was a long time ago and i dont care....and nintendo actually made good money by selling the rights of zelda to philips, it was part of a development agreement, and they made money while the cd-i rotted on store shelves...

This is awesome. At first I thought it was Four Swords Link (who looks a lot like Wind Waker Link) with what is called a BowWow, but we all know it's a Chain Chomp from SMB3.
