This is another winner. I agree - centering the main focal point is generally a mistake. You've managed to take the composition to the very edge,pushing it almost too far, but it really works beautifully. Good job.
And yes, one can see the impish little boy peeking out.

I love the concept and the crop - very nicely done indeed. The one thing that I personally don't see fit with this shot is the presentation. I think the font and border used here doesn't do this photo justice - it's a very emotive, serious piece (or so it would seem to me, as seen in your brother's expression and the way you have chosen to compose this image). However, the 'cartoony' and quite 'thick' border/font couteracts with these aspects, making it slightly out of place. I would personally use quite an elegant or 'light' font for this image, and would make the border about 1px (2p max) wide. I hope this helps!
