Yeah, man. Back when TegakiE was smaller, it was like everybody knew each other or have seen each other around before. Now it's like..a mess D: I feel intimidated just checking up on there again orz

I took a break to catch up on school work (cause we all were addicted to the place) and when i *tried* to come back it was all new and different.
The main thing i noticed was how it transformed from what it was into basically an RP site; and while i have nothing against the groups, i miss the good ol' days when there wasnt as much pressure to be popular or have pageviews and everyone commented and the community wasnt as...whatever it is now.

Right? It's weird D: I mean, I don't mind RPing but it feels like that's what Tegaki's geared towards now that they've set up those those groups n' shit. Before people just RP'd just for shit's n' giggles, y'know? It's not the same 8( It was definitely a lot more fun when everybody was just all over the place.

Once TE reformatted with the different page tabs, it really started going downhill. Making the groups official split up those who were really devoted to their RP's and those who just wanted to play in a fandom's tag and make friends with people who shared a common interests. I was one of the first 100 people on TE and I watched it transform from its inception, I was there when the front page kept crashing, the institution of the opacity tools, the drama around the tags system- it was all *fun* drama that people legitimately debated and discussed in a calm, friendly, way so as to make the site better. Now, it's a ton of group initiated red tape and poorly planned RP's that make stick figures and generic cliches an institute in its systems.
It seems that back in the day, the Tegakians really cared about the community that came from our time spent there. People made actual friends and bonds there. I still talk and play with online friends I met in Tegakie from years ago. Now, it seems the current online population could care less. The demographic has changed.
