Well, after seeing 's awesome MLP Fan Character King Disconcert [link] who is his idea of Discord's father, and seeing 's "MLP Greek Gods" series (in which she made Eris an Alicorn and Discord's mother) [link] , I was inspired to create my own version of a mother for Discord.

Say hello to Queen Disarray.

Her powers are very similar to Discord's (in fact, some say she's where he got his sense of humor )

In my head-canon, Draconequui are from a realm entirely different from Equestria, which at the moment I'm calling the "Chaos Realm". Queen Disarray is one of the main rulers of that realm.

Every now and again, draconequui sneak out of the Chaos Realm into Equestria to cause a little trouble for their own amusement.

But Discord, Disarray's youngest son (and the runt of his litter), took it too far.

Despite being a queen of chaos and one of the most powerful Draconequui in existence, Disarray understood that there exists a balance between harmony and chaos, and said balance must be maintained, as much as her baby boy's defeat at the hooves of the young alicorn princesses utterly broke her heart.

After Discord's defeat, the other Draconequui came to learn where to draw the line when it came to their own antics, so that nopony got hurt and they would not suffer the same fate as their fallen prince.

But still, Queen Disarray constantly watched over her son from the Chaos Realm, praying for the day that he would break free once again from his stone prison and return to her... and that hopefully he would come to understand the balance between chaos and harmony...
