Actuall for this one I was standing in front of this mans house partly in the street...because I wanted to get the light right. He was on his porch looking at us (the whold fam walking the dog, they were on the sidewalk waiting for me). When I was done he said if I wanted I could take all of the leaves with me. He hated raking them no matter how pretty they were. hahah.

Back "in the old days" in Illinois, we had to rake and burn a couple times during the fall - GREAT fun building 5-foot piles and tunneling through them, but not worth the "work" of raking.

hahahaha I get your meaning. I do love fall and spring...the other two can be a bit extreme for my tastes. Washington is gorgeous though, not that I have anywhere to compare it to.

I love the Autumn and this picture shows one of my favorite parts of the season. Leaves changing color = love.
