What type of white makeup do you use and how do you apply it?

I used to use basic white greasepaint (Free comic book day 2012, Ohayocon), but I hated it. it was really easy to mess up and would rub off on my shirt collar. Me and my girlfriend started airbrushing my make up on. I think the paint is Mehron or something? I also recently started airbrushing my hair.

A good one is about $150-$200. Then you'd need a compressor which is about $100-150. The plus is the makeup is only like $15 for all of it.
