Wow, I dig it. I like how you kept the background pure black having his hair and body just kinda disappear. My only crit. would be the nose. The nostril in particular. I think it should be less vertical. But yeah, its awesome. You have quite a talent.

the eyes are very important. i always start with the eyes. that way if i don't get them right i can throw it away before i get to into it.

i don't really think it's my best, and i hate the scan of it. by the looks of it i'm the only one so far. maybe i should look at it again. i'm i just being stupid?

Yeah. I've been drawing forabout eight or nine years now, and I still find ways to make my stuff look better. But I guess a sign of a good artist is one who doesn't think they're the best, right?

I love the tonal contrast you used here to draw attention to the center of the piece and Edward's face. The hints of his clothing and the scars along his cheek bone and temple were very nice touches and really did a lot to make this a rather dynamic rendering.
I'm absolutely in love with it, and that's coming from a girl who's been an Edward Scissorhands junkie since she was 3 years old.
