I love this game, but it gets so lonely if you don't have companions hobbling around behind you! : 3I have yet to hatch my own smallbird, but soon.... soon my child, I shall hatch thee.

It's kinda funny. Whenever I get companions in game, I imagine them Wilson (or whatever character I'm playing as) sitting around the fire and talking together at night. Also, it's part of why I like playing as Wendy most. Especially now that Abigail can be there at all times. It's nice to have a constant companion.

I'm currently thinking about recording a series on it, whenever I'm playing while talking to friends, they end up laughing at the things I say. Such as, "Oh come on Abigail. Play nice with the Beefaloes. Β ... I don't care if they're in heat, it's your fault for getting too close then."
Also, have you noticed that Wendy has different lines when she examines Abigail's Flower in different situations.
When it's fresh: That flower belongs to my sister Abigail. She's gone somewhere far away.
After it's had some time: I can feel Abigail's presence growing stronger
When it's almost ready: Abigail is almost here
When it's ready (in her inventory): Abigail is ready to play, but she needs some space
When it's ready (on the ground): I need to teach Abigail how to play.
These aren't exact quotes though. Also, the last one was always delightfully creepy to me, since she has to kill something to get Abigail to appear.
