I decided I'd post my interpretation of the Evolution of Eevee mentioned in my fanfic, Auras.
Pokefiction- Auras I stood by and watched for years as they harvested the souls of our young and overpowered our species… I knew it was wrong, but I too was still young and unable to assist them.
…I'm not anymore.

I sat in the flowers of Floaroma Town as another giddy trainer walked along with their Leafeon in tow, content by the breeze caressing the earth. I thought about my careless life, when I could wander the pastures freely and joyously. That life was gone.
Why did I like Floaroma Town? By the time trainers and Pokémon alike arrived here, they weren't in the mood to fight for money or power
I tried to make it mangy and rat-like, since I wanted very much to insinuate that Eevee's real evolution isn't pretty, and therefore, isn't desired..
