"Hello there. Who are you?" I asked.
Β
"I'm Lana. A butterfly spirit. I came to you Souless to give you news. You have a spirit, but it's not a star. I will show if you do something for me,"The butterfly replied.
Β
"And what will that be?"
Β
"You have a strong heart and a pure one too. You, Souless Glow, are the only one who can stop the King and bring his victims back from the dead. If

you defeat the king all of his victims will be brought back including your mother. Also your spirit will be returned,"

The wind blew past my face ruffling my curly fur. I gazed up into the sky. The stars twinkled and sparkled in the big dark blue sea called the night sky. My mother told me stars hold spirits. Each star holds someones spirit. Another star appears every time a baby was born and one disappears when someone dies. They have a purpose to be there. I didn't. My very excistence had no meaning. I had no star, no spirit .No soul. Everybody hated me. Souless was my name. The King's knights had came and killed my mother but I had escaped. Even then on that hill I could remember the last peaceful moment we shared together.
Β
We were lying on the same hill looking up at the sky.
Β "Mum, which one is your star?" I asked her.
"Which one do you think?" She replied.
I pointed at the moon and she had laughed.
Β
I
Β
I would have given anything for my mother to be with me. Fighting back the tears I wished to the moon. I had always wished on the moon.
Β
"Mr Moon, Please give me a star. Give me a purpose. That's what my mother always wanted,"
Β
I wished the same thing each night and when the moon wasn't there I would try to talk the stars into bringing my mother's star back. Since I was a child I could speak to the stars. But that night my wish came true, almost.
Β
I closed my eyes and felt something fly past my face. My eyes flew open and I saw a beautiful purple butterfly.

The young spirit looked out on the open plane, lost and alone, her only friend is her spirit butterfly pet, who stays at her side.Β "They will never see me..."Β She sighed.
"You don't know that!Β Maybe-"
"Don't say it.Β Don't try to cheer me up Saya.Β You know it's true."Β She sighed.
The butterfly looked at her sadly, distraught.
Yue, the young spirit creature was always alone, never seen by anyone sadly.Β She just longs for a home.Β A family.Β A life.

My eyes looked across the tree littered plain, the stars above me cascading across the darkened sky. I sighed, letting my eyes shut for a moment as the wind ruffled my fir, pasting back my ears. How I longed to be home. I turned away, walking back from the cliff, trekking though the forest for a while. I came to a clearing, and a dancing glowing light caught my gaze. I hesitantly walked up to it, and I realized it was a butterfly.
I begun to calm, my homesick feeling fading away as I stared. "Hello. . ."
(Ahh I hope I did good )

I need to write a story even if I don't win
Sorry for my grammar I'm not that good in english but I'm trying
`My memories they are fading, I wish you would come back. I miss you so much.`
Staring at the starry sky my mind get's full of idea's, idea's to get you back.
I let myself fall in the long soft grass.
"What am I going to do now?" I asked myself. I've been asking the same question over and over again.
"You're my best friend, I couldn't live without you. Who is going to be my best friend now?"
Slowly I get the most strange idea to look all over the world to finding you but... I'm too...too scared.
Sigh... Why would I even try to talk to you, you probably can't hear me, see me, smell me...
Seeing my reflection in the water makes me angry.
THAT'S IT! I'm going to find you no matter what!
With a quick movement I get up and run through the woods.
I remember playing here, running was the only favourite thing I liked to do, it cleared my mind.
After running a while I was tired.
With no idea where I was I lied down on the ground, my legs hurt, the feeling in my legs was like I had not run this far than ever before, it felt good.
When I finally could open my eyes I saw a tiny light in the distance, maybe I'm mistaking I thought, after another good look I saw that the light was getting bigger, it came to me.
I quickly hid behind the bushes, my legs still hurted even more than before.
I was too scared to look what was in front of the bushes, it could be a human trying to capture wild animals like me.
Through a small hole I could see who was in front of the bushes, no one.
Not thinking if there would still be someone I crawled out of the bush.
I looked around again, still no one.
It was safe to walk, when I tried to move I heard a sound behind me.
My ears were shaking, I couldn't move, I got petrified...
In front of me I saw light rays, tiny light rays, it was the same light that came into this direction a few moments ago.
Slowly I look behind me, it was a shiny butterfly, the light she shone felt warm and pleasant.
Hello dear, the butterfly said.
I've been sent here by your friend to let you know he's fine.
He has been taken to the skyworld way up in the clouds, he wanted to tell you that he is happy.
However he can never return back here anymore, it's his destiny to watch over all the animals on earth.
I don't understand, I said.
Why is it his destiny to watch over all the animals here?
Why can't he come back to me? I miss him so much...
Have patient my dear,
Once you will understand but now it's too early,
His destiny has been this way since he was born, he wants to go to you very much but he understands his duty, that's why he must stay in the skyworld.
Once a year he can come to earth, that day will be tomorrow.
He will explain you more.
I...I...sigh.
I understand, I said.
But if he only can be here once a year then who will be my friend?
Sadly I cannot answer that question, the butterfly said.
It is for you to figure out.
Would...would you like to be my friend? I said.
Or do you have to go back to your skyworld as well?
..... I've never thought of that, the butterfly said.
I am banned from the skyworld because I gave my soul to someone very special, I gave it to my best friend because he was dying, it didn't safe him but I could spend more time with him that way. I..I would love to be your friend.
With a huge smile I looked at the butterfly.
I understand now, tomorrow I wil speak to my friend then he can explain me more.
We are going to have much fun trust me, we're going to do new things that have never been done before,
Our friends will be so proud of us, they will always stay in our hearts no matter what, we'll never forget about them.
So our journey started with new discoveries and a new friendship forever!

Chelsea stood solemnly atop her grassy hill. She used to quite enjoy the vantage spot. The view of her home forest was once incredible. She could often catch sight of her bretheren playing within the lush folliage, or chasing some small animal. No matter what they were doing, it was always fun to watch.
Now, all that remained was charred husks.
She would never again see Fredrich trying to dance on two legs. Marcy would never make another crazy recipe. Azerith was now free of Ernald's romantic persuits, as neither of them would ever again move. They were gone. They were all gone.
As she stared at the incinerated remains of her home forest, a single glowfly fluttered across her vision. She'd never seen one so far away from the woods. Had it been able to flee the destruction of its home as she had? Did it even know that its home was reduced to ashes?
She supposed it didn't really matter. She was no longer the only surviving member of her forest, and she gained some comfort from this.
Chelsea didn't know where she was going to go. Where to find food or water. She didn't know what she was going to do when she found a new home. But she couldn't give up. So long as she and this little glowing bug were still alive, there would be a little bit of forest left on the world.
Chelsea waved one of her glowing antennae, beckoning the glowfly to perch.

I walked up to the cliff slowly, knowing once I went up there nothing would never be the same. As I finally approached the top I looked back to where I had come from. It was a village, small and cozy. The village was full of tepees, our homes. I held my eyes over one for just a second longer than all the others. It was a place I would never come back too, and if I did decide too, I would regret the decision. The tepee was my home. The tepee was made of birch wood splattered with mud to keep rain and wind from getting through and I had drawn intricate designs all around it. The colors were made from the whole rainbow, painted with my very own paws and some dye made from the ripest berries I could find. The entrance was nothing more but a simple rug that had the words home sweet home sewed into it, long worn down by the harsh weather that had befallen our village in the past months. But now it was time for change, not the past. I took in all of my village once again and swung my head back around and sprinted to the top of the cliff. The wind was blowing and my fur swayed to the rhythm of the breeze as I ran along the path to my destiny. There it was, the edge. I started slowing my pace and walked up to it, ready to see my guide that would lead my threw life from that point on. But as I looked over the horizon I saw nothing but the stars.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. How come the gods were wrong, why isn't my guide here? I thought to myself. Wait, does that mean, the letter I got, must be fake? Someone must have sent it as a trick, and they are all probably spying on me, laughing. But who would do such a thing? Deliruim. He had always had his eye on me, being the prankster. Apparently, I, Cassie, am too of a goodie two shoes for him and he always tries to prank me. But this had gone to far. Sending a fake note from the gods saying that I was this villages savior, and I guide would be here this very night.
I held in my tears and started sluggishly down the hill, my head drooping and my tail between my legs. What I fool I had been, for being so gullible. How could I have fallen for this trick? I closed my eyes for a second and felt something hit me. I ever so quickly opened my eyes just to see a butterfly. But no, it was no ordinary one. It was a god. The god of love to be precise.
"I see you have made it Cassie." The butterfly said in a hush, whispering tone. I was stunned. I couldn't speak at all.
"Don't be afraid." The butterfly said once again, in a friendlier manner. "I have come to lead you to the realm of the gods." The god said her wings glowing purple. "Are you willing to come?"
"Of-"
"No need to answer, I already know. That is why you are here." The butterfly said glowing the dark night. The butterfly turned for a second and then I saw it, I don't know how I missed such a sight. It was a staircase made out of the purest glass, leading up into the sky, swirling around it were other animal gods such as the butterfly, foxes, horses, cats... "Follow me."
I watched as the butterfly flew up onto the stairs and turned around, waiting. I took a deep breath and stepped forward, travelling towards my new destiny.

It was a rather warm night, something he wasn't used to. The feeling wasn't a bad one, though. It was quite comforting. The small mammal hopped over to the top of a mighty hill. It's height towered over the most inspiring landscape, which roared with new hope and adventure.Β
In this landscape sat before him many choices. He could go east, west, anywhere. His eyes gleamed brighter than even the slightest of grins. Whichever direction he takes will determine his new path, and there was no turning back. All memories of his friends and family would simply vanish. The animal nods, confirming his new line of life, and turns around to go around the hill.Β
On his way down, a butterfly with a violet colored radiance interrupted his path. How rude, the tiny adventurer thought. He swatted a paw and watched it dodge with grace. The insect seemed to laugh and mock him. How dare he! Irritated, the animal's once hopeful eyes combusted into a fire. Through his red fur, one could sense his blushing...

Lithia stiffened as she saw the Spirit fluttering in front of her. It was prettier than most, with the form of a delicate butterfly. Dread grew in her heart at what the sight of the Spirit meant. Sure enough, as she watched, the butterfly steadied itself and landed on a nearby bush.
"Lithia," it whispered in an ethereal voice "you have been Chosen."
As Lithia watched, a filmy apparition of her appeared in the air, marked on the chest with the insignia of the Fallen. As her soul hovered beside her in the air the Spirit told her of the quest she would soon be forced to complete.
"Your soul has been awakened Lithia. I grant you the gift of Foresight and Gaia Power. With these you will begin a journey, with me by your side. Together we are to infiltrate the enemy's forces and get as close to their commander as possible. We believe they are planning to destroy the Meadow in an attempt to weaken our life forces."
Lithia shivered. She'd heard the stories about the Sky Craears. Ghastly beasts that fed on smoke and fire. Undead beings that held no emotions. She'd had no idea they planned to completely destroy the planet she had spent the last hundred years living peacefully on.
"Are you ready, Lithia?" the spirit asked, flying off the bush to circle around her. The Marrow Wynd gulped, watching the Spirit as it hovered. Finally she nodded. Ultimately she had no choice, but being Chosen had an affect on creatures that was hard to ignore. Already she could feel her newly gifted powers flowing through her. She felt the need to protect her planet and friends growing in her heart. Yes, she was ready.
Lithia nodded at the Spirit and with a tinkling laugh the butterfy soared above her, spinning in circles frantically until she had opened the Transport.
"Come Lithia, journey with me to the Capitol." and together they leapt into the wormhole. Lithia felt her heart pounding as they traveled. She was going to the Grove.
This is my attempt at adopting. Such cute species you created. Good luck to everyone else that tries out for it ^^

I hope this is good. ;w;
She gazed out at the sky. I wonder..When the day comes...IF that day comes.....Will I be ready? she sighed. It was normal for her to be a bit sad. She was socially rejected, afterall. Spent most of her time lost in some world. Sometimes there would be horses, sometimes she would dream of dragons. Sometimes of revenge.
And that day, about a year before, had she gotten the chance to get revenge on the people who had made her the outcast she is. An odd grey fox had been there. Talked to her. She could remember the words exactly. Even if it was so long ago.
A purple flutterfly had flown by. She turned her focus to it. The glowing trail behind it's traveled path lit her eyes up. Something so ordinary such as a flutterfly would never had made her feel better.
But this one was different.
It seemed to give her some sort of reassurance...To not fear.
It was stupid, she knew. But she couldn't help but smile.
