I love watching the Northern Lights, and I've never seen a display so close to home as beautiful as this one. They are usually quite a bit dimmer!It was -18 celsius before wind chill, and it was windy. I can highly recommend the Loki Access Mitt - I recently purchased a pair, and my hands stayed toasty warm with my remote the whole 2 hours I was sitting on the icy beach.
Location: Eagle Bay, BC, Canada
Used: Canon EOS 1Dx, Canon 17-40 f/4L, tripod, cable shutter release.

Gorgeous photo, and the colors are breathtaking! I even love the lights from the far-off city, sort of mimics the stars overhead. It must be so amazing to see something like this in person...
