Lately I've gotten into the habit of carrying a small stack of 3"x5" index cards to draw on. They're lighter, more compact, and in some ways easier to work with than my sketch books. And I like drawing small.

1 and 2: Mibojin Shingumo, an OC of the parody-esque Naruto RPG I'm currently in, here in his first draft. It's clear that I hate designing costumes. ^^'

3: Shingumo in his 4th draft. I'm working a little more on the costume. Key points include his hair, how he wears the headband, and the bag that he keeps his weapons in (he improvises with hair supplies, no joke. He comes from a family of barbers.)

4: Shingumo again, 5th draft. Note the hairbrush

5: Caela, my hypochondriac, OCD and generally nervous favored-soul healer from a D&D three-shot. Here she is holding her beloved hand sanitizer.

6: Oitsumaru, one of the two sensei from the Naruto game. She's kickass X3

7: Kontan, my character from an L5R three-shot. My only genuinely evil RPG character, she was born and raised in the Dragon Clan, is a Togashi Tattooed Monk, and is secretly a member of the Spider Clan. She's perfectly amiable and polite, will gladly become your friend and ally, but if you get in her way she'll end you without a second thought.
