"What is this rose for? The thorns hurt my fingers."My original character, Lyrick. (Thank you for the name.) He's a blunt, awkward, wuss. Not the brightest kid. But he'll prove to be useful some day. .__.
Something different, opposed to my other lamely composed gloomy pictures.
I think iw ent overbaord with colour thoguh, I was trying to use a wider palette. Man this looks shiny. "(@w@)"
I used a reference for the pose..but I can't seem to find it anymore. It was of this Ouran cosplayer though, XD.

It surprises me to know that you are trying to use a wider palette. I find it more difficult to use a smaller choice of colours XD
I like his colourful hair and that unusual style he has in clothes. He seems to be an interesting person to meet ^^

I'm used to using just a few simple colours here and there like "fleshtone, blue, and red" but I was just seeing how boring it'll end up after a few pictures like those. Maybe next time i'll work on making a simply coloured piece look itneresting,

Well, I don't find those kind of drawings boring, just the opposite. In my case, I always use too many colours, and my drawings will probably blind somebody one day XDD
Anyway, keep on trying different things, I'm sure you'll came out with great results ^^

Whoa bicycle... But yeah, the texture and the colors look very nice. :3 I think bright colors look EXTREME. In a good way. I like the highlights on the clothes and everything.
