Description (Updated the Lighting)

So here is a scene I put together over quite a bit of time now. It was originally some props taken from the Unearthly Challenge I had done with Nate Castronovo and Said Zaree. I took all of the props from that scene while adding a few more I've been working on recently and came up with this. It's been tons of fun working on and I'm really excited to show it to everyone! Hope you all like it!

If this is what the burbs look like, I can only imagine what the slums while look like (if there are any slums). Excellent work.

Hahaha, well we actually concepted out the slums at one point as well, but just didn't have time to finish in school. Thanks a lot man glad you like it!

Just imagine for the slums, a combination of the those shacks with the larger buildings, strewn across a flat plain with the smaller shacks filling up the gaps in between. Then maybe add in a bum fire n some cans here n there and you got the slums lol

Fantastic! You could use a lil bit of contrast in the lighting though.

Yeah definitely. Even up front! If I wasn't at work I would totally do a paint over of some ideas I'd have for lighting.

looks like something out of Gears of War. Great work, maybe work a bit more on the lightning in UDK. Oher than that it looks perfect

Badass. Of course the vines comment is valid. I don't think anyone really would care or notice if in a game, but those vines are def feeling out of place. Why not put some at eye level on the concrete at the right or the shack think on the left.

I don't think the hanging vines make sense in the areas that you have them placed in.
I'd like to see the foilage up front be a litter thicker to fill that area.
I really like the work you've done on the refinery, it looks outstanding.

Thanks man. Yeah I may go back and fix this eventually, but I'm worn out on it for now man lol. I'm takin a break from it for a bit. If I do end up going back though I'll definitely look into fixin up that foliage and maybe messin with the placement on it.

Yeah workin on talkin to two companies right now, we'll see how it goes
