Resident Evil: Benched Part 4
I started drawing this comic series two whole damn years ago as a tongue in cheek attempt to vent my mild consternation with the fact Resident Evils arguably most iconic character (Jill Valentine) had effectively been written out of the franchise for the last decade... the whole arch of the comic is Jill just being left out of the loop with each successive film/game and getting more and more frustrated with being left 'on the bench'.
...then I lost some important files and lot of work with them and I became so disheartened that I shelved the whole thing.
...Until now!
This new ResidentEvilDeathIsland film is about to completely ruin the crux of the joke in these comics, and I'm so happy!
But it still doesn't excuse Jill being effectively blacklisted from RE lore for the last 10 years.
So I've dusted off the script and plan to carry on the comic in the lead up to the films release.
