Description
With joints screaming and legs aching from a long hike up another fourteener, I began to make my way towards the Upper South Colony Lake. Gorgeous low hanging clouds accompanied by a setting sun began to set the mood for some potential shots.I decided to start the shin dig by focusing on the tail waters spilling out from the lake. With sun kissed peaks supplying a backdrop, I would have had to of been crazy not to focus on the beautiful flowers within the small stream.
What an amazing place this was and I cannot wait to return for a strict photo trip.

Very nice man. Might burn down the peak a bit (personal preference). Did you get any shots with the wildflowers as in your face foreground subjects? The bottom most bloom looks like the perfect spot.

Wish I could've man but I didn't have my wideangle yet. Actually, the day I shot this was the day my wideangle was arriving! Ha! Go figure! This was literally a foot away ish. And I thank you for your honest opinion on the peaks Not a lot of people say what they think

No problem, I just think with the way the rest of the image looks the peak would give off a bit more detail.
