Just before work ends, I glance at the sky. I see if the clouds look like they are gonna show some light, and if I'll get lucky or not with a photo op.Well, for the second night in a row, the sky looked like it was about to unleash a flurry of colors, however. After work ended, I needed to help my sister-in-law out for a bit with some moving. So, in a mad dash I did my chores with just enough time to go grab my gear.
Right when the early signs of color started to dance on the clouds, I was finding a new spot with all new sites along Horsetooth.
Just enough spare time to give me a chance to capture the beauty.

Epic sky. Glad you made it to get the shot. Looks like it might need a slight CCW tilt though but it's hard to tell. Now I just wish some clouds would come out this way, clear skies for almost two weeks straight.

I had thought the same thing until I realized the only level part is the water in the background. The bank should be at a slight angle due to the perspective. But overall I'm glad you like it

It does play tricks with the mind 8. And I understand completely. Here you'll go a week or two without anything, then BAM, like two or three days, up to a week of awesome sunsets.

Yeah, I'm keeping my eye on the weather. Looks like there are going to be some clouds wednesday, but I don't know when they will show or if I'll even be able to catch them.

No, not yet at least, but I'd rather just take photos than do anything else anyways. Making money with it is just the added bonus. Hopefully I can get to the professional level soon.
