i wanted to make the sledge bros. groose but im not a good enough sprite artist so its just blank space xdAlot of sprites ripped/based on the SMB1 rom hack Sponge Bros.

Maybe the regular Pokey and Snow Pokey, but definately not the Mega Pokey; I'm sick of the mega enemy sheets, they feel cheap and require no effort to make. If you ever want any mega enemies, just follow this tutorial I made if you have GIMP:Β
How 2 scale toxFirstly, you will need to copy and paste this:
scale2x.txt
Into a .txt file (You may also require Python, and if you do not have it yet, you can get it here: https://www.python.org/ ).
Then, rename the .txt file to: "scale2x.txt".
Place the .txt in your GIMP plugins folder (Yours may differ in location, but mine is: "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\.gimp-2.8\plug-ins").
You now have the plugin. Now here's how to use it:
Once GIMP has been opened, and you have an image ready to scale, go to: "Filters\Artistic\Scale2x".
The selected layer/image will then be put through the scaling process; this may take a while, depending on the size of the image.
You now know how to use Scale2x. Have fun.

I'd recommend to say that on a SMM sheet, you have to remove the boxes before scaling, as the algorithm messes with the sprites inside boxes. The easiest way to remedy this is to recolor the background to be the same light blue as the boxes. If you want the background back, just rescale 400% and copy the dark background and paste on your scaled light background sheet.
