Had some free time last night and did something spacey. The only thing Vue left in this one is the Event Horizon and a few of the asteroid bits as I was less than thrilled with my results using Vue's planet and stars, so overpainting fixed my woes

Nice, you don't see the Event Horizon all that often.
The only thing I'd say is that the lighting is a little off (light seems to hit the ship from port, but in that case the planet's shadow should not be that opaque. Still awesome though. Always like seeing that ship!

Thanks and yes, I do tend to favor drama over realism, especially with space scenes which can be rather boring if they wholly lend on reality

To me it seems more like a probable prequel to Warhammer 40,000.
Warp daemons possessing ships, anyone? Jumping into the Warp without a Gellar Field?

I haven't play Warhammer 40K so I don't know much about it.
What makes me think of Dead Space is the fact the Adrift went into dimension which caused all the crew members to go crazy and seeing illumes which can mess with people minds were the two facts
