I actually like his blue arms in the redesign for Sonic Boom. I always wondered why his arms were a different color to his legs in the first place, personally. Even when I was little, it confused me. I am not really "bothered" by it, but it was not something that I thought made sense about his design. I mean, does he shave his arms every morning or something? But I guess some people do not like to stray away from what they are use to seeing, and I understand that.
I think his design for Boom makes him look more natural. His long legs would make sense for his speed, his blue arms kind of give him a more matured look, and I like the additional quills they gave him as well.
Besides that point, I really like how this came out. The lines are nice and smooth and the coloring is very clean. I also like how well you executed the poses and expressions. Great job.

And I agree.
And despite all the hate it gates, I actually like Knuckle's new design. I think it fits the fact that echidnas are actually huge compared to hedgehogs apscience.org.au/projects/APSF… and very tough-looking. And they actually do have very thick arms. It also kind of puts variety in sizes between characters rather than every character and species be the same height.
