Well it was implied the ship was cannon. Larry would not have gotten a name if the creators didn't acknowledge the ship. So Gary x Larry is actually a thing now. Nick x Judy is also cannon according to deleted scene from the Blu ray version of the movie.

How was it implied? Judy X Nick was already canon from the moment they became open with each other! For all we know, the two could be brothers. The fact they wear identical outfits, have similar names, and are the same height and shape; that gives it to me. Have you ever considered that?
