Well, I think I finally settle on the design for this guy. I decided that Rorke looked better with the whips being part of his hand instead being the whole thing.

The name, Rorke, comes from Mickey Rourke, who starred in Iron Man 2 (his Whiplash character is the basis of the whip-kaiju idea anyway). I decided that the name would work for the kaiju, and it stuck.

I altered the head and body from the last design, making him look like a bipedal turtle. I kept the beak, though redesign it. The whips/tentacles are now where the creatures thumbs would be. They still extend to over 50 meters during combat, and generate burst of energy. Also, Rorke can drain a enemy's lifeforce if he keeps his tentacle on them for several minutes.

Also thinking giving him a weak energy blast from his mouth, just for coolness.

Of course, he is similar to several Ultra Monsters, but that's what my plan is. Him, Hemaphora, and Ripelator are all more influences with those than anything in the Godzilla/Gamera movies.
