-Two assassins that use a gun.
-They originally didn't use a gun in one version(The Teen Titans og cartoon and Sonic Adventure 2)
-They both lost someone they loved(Slades wife and Maria)
-They both were put in a tight human sized prison for over a decade(Deathstrokes suit was being built in a tube for a decade and Shadow was frozen for at least 40 years)
-They both made their own team of villains(Titans Villains For Hire and Team Dark)
-They both fight 3 teams of heroes(The Teen Titans, The Justice League, as well as The Bat Family and Team Sonic, Team Amy, as well as Team Chaotix)
-They have a rivalry with someone who's similar, but not the exact same(Deadshot and Silver or Metal Sonic)
-They get along with a different character from another team for a little while because they have something in common(Cyborg because of his intelligence and Blaze because she's just as calm as Shadow)
-They have a female family member of some kind that turned themselves into something similar(Rose Wilson, Deathstrokes actual daughter, is transformed into Ravager and Maria, who acts like a daughter for Shadow, is turned into a hedgehog, like Shadow)
