In Dusty's story, "New Animal Life", the Powerpuff Girls are the Power-Pup girls and Dexter is a dog and boyfriend of Blossom. Buttercup has a boyfriend named Dilbert while Bubbles hangs out with her boyfriend, Cody. Dexter is the founder and chair-dog of DexLabs, one of FUN's biggest company supporters. Blossom works as vice-chair-dog and Dexter's partner in DexLabs. Blossom is a border collie, but fur is orange instead of black, she wears a pink collar and wears her trademark ribbon on her fur. Bubbles is a golden retriver, her pigtails are replaced by her dog-ears, and she wears a blue collar. Buttercup is a Doberman and wears a green collar. Dexter is a orange furred spaniel with his trademark glasses and wears a doggish science coat.
