Not very far, just around ep 5 or so. I've started watching it without subs for Japanese practice so some of it's taking me a while to understand completely. I need to download the latest eps, I've fallen behind a bit xD

I admire you for watching it without subs. :'D That must be very hard. Where do you watch it? dramacrazy.net has it all in Japanese and with subs as well.

I torrent it from D-Addicts.com It's also download-able from MegaUpload (with subs) on the JDramas community on LiveJournal.
And it is sometimes, but sometimes I can understand quite a bit of it without going to my dictionary (which makes me beyond happy, seriously). 'Course I'm only at elementary school student Japanese in my studies, but every bit helps~<3
I've got a Japanese channel broadcasting to my TV, it doesn't have Ohitorisama but it's still good for listening practice (it plays the news like 20 times a day ) and I can understand quite a bit of the kid's shows (unless the characters have odd squeaky voices like a lot tend to do).

How were you able to learn Japanese? D: I've tried books, dictionarys, and CDs, but I always have a hard time learning it.

I studied it through high school and I'm now studying it at uni, though next year I'm going external so it's going to be much more difficult to keep motivated since I won't be going to classes.
The 'Yookoso' books are pretty good, the first one introduces the beginning stuff(romaji, hiragana, katakana), and goes into more structures and things and the second one continues with that. Both of them include kanji and questions and comprehension to do as well. They also have workbooks and CDs for the listening tasks and extra work on the structures you learn from the books.
Another good resource is 'A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar', and later on in studies 'A Dictionary of Intermediate Japanese Grammar'. They're helpful if you need more information on the structures and more examples.

:'D Thank you so much. I'll look those up as soon as I can.
My highschool took Japanese out just last year. And we were only ONE person short. D':

My Japanese class in high school ended up only having two people in my last year. The year before that had one, and this year there was two again. We had a lot fewer classes because of our lack of numbers.
You're welcome~

D: Why are Japanese classes so short on people? It's crazy.

I know D: My class at uni had five people at most and only three of us ever turned up to class if we were lucky. Sometimes there'd only be me in the some of the classes, mainly the one where we had Japanese assistant language teachers. One of them spoke barely any English, damn those lessons were somewhat difficult lol

D: That sounds really hard. I hope that more people start to sign up for it.

Yeah same, it's nice to have a bigger class but then you don't always get as much help as you need sometimes when the classes are bigger.
Hey, do you mind if I add you to MSN?

Yeah, that's true, too. Last year I only had eleven kids in my German1 class at the end of the year.
Nah, I don't mind. On this computer I have older MSN, though. D:
