Finally finished my art trade with !!! (I always feel so bad when people finish their part of an art trade, like, forever and ever before me.)She wanted to see a picture of her character Raiden the Tiger with Jade on his throne (because he's an emperor!) so here they are! Probably discussing something important on that long piece of parchment while he has his tea. Yay for tigers!
I also tried really hard to get it all finished for today, because today is Galaxy-Of-Stars ' birthday! Happy birthday, Friend!

Oh my goodness! >w< This looks very lovely, Vanessa~! You drew Jade and Raiden so wonderfully! And the throne, man! So well done and I really like to texture and look to it! I could probably not ever do that! Well, maybe... I also like how Raiden is calm and laid back and how Jade is all motivated and has the scroll out! I love it! Everything looks so amazing and I love this very much! Again so well done and thank you! Also, thanks a lot for the birthday wish and I find that sweet of you to try and get it finished on my birthday~ That's sweet. c: Both Jade and Raiden look so lovely. They really look cute with each other! And they're both tigers. So I think that's quite cool!

Oooooooh~ You've certainly done a really good work with the throne in this piece, miss~ Look oriental alright, though... it looks more like an armless sofa than a throne. 
The details on the characters are the next thing that I like about this piece, from the lighting on Jade/Raiden's hair, to how their bodies are shaded quite smoothly~ Their poses are pretty neat as well, and that cup of tea is a really nice touch to the royalty of Raiden. Good work here, Jade!

Thanks so much! The throne was fun, got to play with a few brushes for the flowery texture in there. I know what you mean though. I goggled pictures of Chinese thrones and they all looked like sofas to me too. I guess that would be good for days full of royally lazing about?

That's reasonable~ The old ones were more wood/gold than comfort, so it's all good.
