I was re-playing Epic Battle Fantasy 2... For some reason, Lance kept killing Natz. He throws everything at Natz... Shots, Nukes, getting run over or stuff, it always misses Matt for some reason.When I told one of my friends about it, he said,"Lance: THIS IS FOR CHOSING MATT OVER ME!"
Makes sense, so why not?

Well, lance does kidnap natalie a lot in Adventure story. And he did also state in epic battle fantasy 4 in the scene when they reunite with lance "Matt you are a disgrace! You were slain by a child and left natalie in the wilderness to die! (If you don't want to have her , then I'll have her instead.)" So I think this is kinda true. I think he's in love with natalie a little. But I don't think it's COMPLETELY confirmed. Also, I don't think natalie's in love with him because in Epic battle fantasy 3 when the girl asked if natalie was lance's girlfriend she responded "You've got to be trolling me."

I'm so sorry, but I'll have to say that I'm a MattxNatz shipper here. NatzxLance has its merits, but it would probably end up with Lance staring at Natz's boobs and Natz frowning. MattxNatz ends up with Natalie bopping Matt with a beach ball for being an accidental pervert. The interaction between them in the beach scene in the 3rd game is so cute :3.

I mean, yeah, MattXNatalie is cute and all, but PERSONALLY, Lance has shown to have a liking towards her. It's even shown in EBF3, like when he he grabs her skirt when they're going through the trees in the woods, or when they were in the desert and he said "take your top off". At least Lance is TRYING to make moves on her. Matt's said squat to her... he's the subtle one. ._. Either he needs to make a move on her, or he'll lose her to the NatalieXLance fandom. ^^

Well, the beach scene seems to show that Matt and Natz at least are somewhat aware of their feelings for each other. Natz doesn't react too harshly when she thinks Matt's "peeking" at her and Matt blushes when he realizes what Natalie thought.
And don't you know that couples who don't confess to each other or show a lot of mixed signs are more likely to end up together anyways? :3 Look at EdxWinry, they're pretty much oblivious to each other's feelings until near the end of the series. I think it's the same case with MattxNatz.

They know they like each other, however they are like brother and sister. They've lived together since their mother died... That'd be no different if you started to like your sister... It'd be just awkward.

There relationship was never made officially canon. However, they do show signs of affection to each other throughout the series. These actions aren't blunt, but they do hint at a greater truth.

Wrong. Hiromu Arakawa made it canon in the third art book. Apparently, according to her, the only thing that's stopping them from being together is the fact that they're both in the military.

Also, to correct you, I think you mean "Ed's mother" or "Trisha" when you say "their parent", since Ed and Winry don't share parents and Winry's parents got killed by Scar in the Ishvalan War. Also, Ed left shortly after the "accident" to become a state alchemist, remember? He pretty much only came back to get automail repairs every now and then. That defines them more as friends than brother and sister, in my opinion.

However, first off. Reread what I said. ._. I clearly stated it was their mother, not their "parent". Second, you're skipping the most crutial part of all of this. Before Ed became a state alchemist, he and Al were both living with Winry and Pinako for a few years after the "accident". Thus, they did gain that sense of being basically siblings over the course of those few years. So nope, they are far more like bro and sis because they always get into childish arguements with each other, and Ed watches over Winry like a vigilant bro. And Winry is always there to point out when he's wrong, like the intelligent (yet sometimes annoying) sis. ._.

Well, there's a difference between love and sexual perversion, y'know. Just 'cause Simon likes Yoko for her boobs doesn't mean that he loves her; he instead loves Nia (though that quickly goes to crap when the Anti-Spirals get killed).
I think Natz would love Matt more than she would Lance. The only interest Lance has shown in her so far concerns her body, not her personality and who she is and stuff, and I don't think she'll like him back for that. You don't see Lance saying "Is she alright?" whenever she dies in battle in the third game, you see Matt saying that. Plus, Matt refers to her boobs derogatorily as "airbags", so it shows he don't ogle them like Lance does.

However, doesn't Natalie also say, when Matt dies, that "the meat shield failed". And matt only says "is she alright" in reference to that she probably passed out drunk, in making reference to his idea of too many pots from the past games.
And while being a better example, there is also the age gap between them that would've made it even more awkward. Nia is at least suppose to be more his age. ._.
