This stage looks so pretty, I love how it has a concentration of detail and kind of fades out into a sketch that's still fairly concise and sharp.

Haha yes, sketches has that something so beautiful... word that it's not finished but has charm. That's a really good profile... I just think the eye is just too moved to the left

golly, this is looking beautiful so far. he looks so sad and ethereal and delicate. poor hack. <3 your pencils are beautiful as always.
i really love the line quality on the tie/collar area especially, if i were you i'd almost leave it like that and develop the negative space instead? but that's just me. XD <3

As usual its an absolutly stunning peice, all of your works have so much emotion, I love your work. I'd like to ask, what type of pencil do you use, or charcol? I can't tell XD anyway what do you use to create your lovely works....

2b mechanical or a range of just regular drawing pencils on strathmore sketch / bristol / different papers. jAded hasn't used charcoal in a while but those can produce lovely lines and textures as well.
