I love this quote from DMC- Dante after losing Virgil, his twin. I wanted to show more emotion to Dante apart from his confident strong self. I wanted a raw, vulnearble, sad, torn Dante.The end of DMC was one of the more emotionally charged ones in DMC history and I wanted a pause right there before more fighting. Also one of the more iconic moments of DMC- the namesake to Dante's shop. An understanded beautiful glimpse into Dante and DMC which was gleaned over pretty quickly in the game.

This is just a quick sketch I'm doing, not even close to finishing... been super jammed this week. Predict to be finished a week or so (travelling this weekend) Since uploading this, I've done another draft which looks a bit different (mostly minor background details- more debris, street rubble etc. I also included Rebellion in the foreground). Hope you like the concept/rough sketch and stay tuned for the finished one! <3
p.s. This is my first time drawing dante... I had to use a couple of reference pictures which I'll link in the final upload.
