UPDATE: Well, I didn't win or get an honorable mention, but it's all good. I needed more practice with coloring anyway. This is a coloring contest entry for the fancomic by ~WingsofMorphius entitled "Flash Photography." ~Obi-quiet did the illustrations for it and asked for someone to color it. The full description is found at her journal
It was good practice for me. I did a simple cell shadding in trying to stay with the orginal art style of the cartoon seen on t.v. I had never seen the evil Danny Phantom in red, so I had to take a guess on the coloring. The one I saw he was grown-up.. O well.

thanks... we procrastinators have to stick together... I'd start a support group.. but I'd never get around to organizing it.

Pro... crastinatin'? Well isn't that like making pro... gress? (grins) I know about putting off one's own work. My latest work came after the guilty realization that I've colored three Celtic knots by CeramicsMaster since the last update of my own new work. Felt it was time to post more new stuff by me. (grins)

coloring is fun too... or we wouldn't have paintings. That's really all they are... big finger paintings.
And 'sides, who doesn't love a good Celtic Knot... I love the ones where it's an animal... very cool. B)

(grins) Last night my roomies expressed envy over what I can do with crayons. I'm not talking French here, where 'crayon' means colored pencils. I used Crayola crayons to start coloring something, and they were blown away by it. I'm not liking how well the paper's taking the crayons, but I might put it in scraps. You're never too old for finger paints or crayons, I always say!

You can't knock down crayons. I'd love to see it if you post it. I've seen some amazing art with crayons... but these were melted.

Heck, I need to wash and photograph a piece of fabric I've used crayons on... very pretty. Also used Pigmas on under the crayons, and it looks great after you melt the wax away.

(laughs!) Nah, use an iron and paper towels... the towels to absorb the wax.
