This is my entry in the 'young girls' contest over atThe contest is to draw any of the younger ladies of Disney canon, and just like with the Disney mothers contest a long while back, I couldn't pick just one :eyeroll:
I came up with a silly idea about a bunch of the girls meeting my favorite anthropomorphic gal, and ended up including every girl that I figured had enough of a connection to the animal kingdom (while still fitting in with the 'at least human-like' rules of the contest).
So here we have:
SHANTI: from the Jungle Book. Given her behavior in the second movie, I figured it would be funny if she was cautious about a talking animal.
MELODY: from the Little Mermaid. She's used to talking fish, so a talking mouse might not faze her too much.
CHARLOTTE: from Princess and the Frog. The ultimate fairy tale fan, I imagine a talking animal would thrill her.
JENNY: from Oliver and Company. She likes animals, so...
OLIVIA: from the Great Mouse Detective.
ALICE: from Alice in Wonderland. I imagine she got fed up with everyone not believing her crazy dream stories about talking animals and grinning cats. Evidence at last!
PENNY: from The Rescuers. Along with Cindy, she's probably the most comfortable with talking mice. Maybe she's hoping Olivia knows her Rescuer friends
CINDERELLA: from Cinderella (dur). Wearing the crazy poofy dress from her intro in the movie. Don't ask me what's up with her hand...ugh.
CHACA: from The Emperor's New Groove. She's there to translate with her jungle scout skizills XD
ANASTASIA: from Cinderella. She...doesn't like mice
In other news, this is my first picture drawn with my new tablet, my first picture drawn in MONTHS, and was a great deal of fun even if it...well, is not the most perfect thing ever to be put up on DA

That's Olivia, from The Great Mouse Detective. Her father is a toy maker who is kidnapped (mouse-napped?) by the villain.

It's cute that you showed a magnifying glass to show Olivia bigger between Jenny (Oliver & Company), Charlotte (The Princess and the Frog, Alice (Alice in Wonderland) and Penny (The Rescuers).

This is Anastasia from Cinderella. She and her sister Drizella play the wicked stepsisters in Disney's Cinderella. She appears in both sequels--she's actually redeemed in both of them, too. She is a Disney character.

I like there is Penny, Jenny and Olivia cause those are my favorite main protagonists of my made up game "Rodents of War 3". But I think they're cute! I Love it!

Huh...pretty sure I explained in the artist's comments that I was only doing characters with a strong involvement with animals characters...hence the joke...maybe I didn't say that explicitly.
