I think most of the world population doesn't have a good V-Day. I think we should abolish the holiday. As one of my non-single friends said "We )she and her boyfriend) don't celeberate that holiday. Why do people need a holiday to remind them to be romantic and stuff like that? Shouldn't you do that anyway if you love someone?"

I agree!! It was originally invented during the war. The women would sit at home, and sew cards and presents for their loved ones off fighting. They chose the day Febuary 14th (no reason for the date..it was just convinient) and they would send their loved ones packets to remind them that while they were fighting and flying someone was thinking about them.
Quite sweet really.
