The girl in the photo is my friend Catherine. Last spring we were in an photo class together and were pressed for time to do a portorit composition. As the afternoon wore on we lost the light, but then I noticed her living room window. The wacky modern houses of New Town, Niwot CO looked differnt in the dark. I quickly asked Cat to put on my jacket and stand by the window. It took her forever to stop laughing...but I really liked this one so I used it as my final.Related content
