Man I sure have a lot of Japan photos (like nearly 200 of them.) Don't worry most of them won't be up in my gallery since they are pictures of me and my exchange group.This is the imperal palace in Tokyo. When your tour stops there you are given 10 mins to look around and then the police will hastle you. This is another one where the focus was supposed to be a bird (swan in this case) but I was yelled at not to go any closer to the moat so this is the best shot I could get.

cool pic, I never really went on 'tours' so I think I only saw the place once or twice from a cab driving down the road. maybe that was somewhere else...lol too bad you couldn't get any closer.

When I travel I rarely go on guided tours...but as this was with a group of students who knew little to nothing about Japan, the culture, or the language (except for me) so they wanted to have their hands held and shown around. But that was only one of the days we were in tokyo. The other day I had mapped out and a Japanese friend of mine helped us nagivate the city.

Thanks. Yes Japan holds a beauty that other places no not of. There are many temples that seem to rise out of nature....ah how I wish to go back there right now.
