^ Ditto. But yours has better clouds and the distance is somewhat comforting.

Thanks. Do they actually havd contest like that?

I've had to pay my way on a few of my trips. It sucks now having to pay for college and having no money for trips. I'm starting to get ancy...I'll probably go insane one day and just drive down to mexico again sometime....or maybe I should go someplace differnt...like Canada...

yea i think the smithsonian just ran something like that. then they have them for cheap digital cameras too and pinhole cameras.

well, i'd be happy if I went on one trip like that.

lol, but why would u want to go to canada after you've seen all those exotic places which you have? that's the one place i'd really say is no different than home here (wisconsin, USA).. so it would be like not a trip at all. i guess it's all relative..

I'll have to keep a look out for contests like that.

I love travling. Jet lag sucks though....

lol yeah I don't think Canada has much offer either...its pretty much a state of the US isn't it anyway.

There is so much beauty in this shot. There is so much texture in the grass field and it is a beautiful contrast to the sky. The colors are very vibrant as well. Quite simply a breathtaking capture!

Thank you. Yes it was a very nice and crisp day. It had been raining the day before and my host family was driving us home from camping. They just randomly stopped and pointed and I saw Mt. Fuji for the first time. And everything was so lush there, they had many green rice fields and jut a little ways farther wild lavender...it was amazing just to be there!

I love taking natural photography and Japan was such a great place to do that. Oh I wish I had had more film while I was there because it is such a wonderful place. I am trying to figure out a way I can go back there...maybe in a summer or two.
