Name: Chai

Breed: Egyptian Mau
Personality: Chai is a very friendly and sweet she-cat, she tends to try and get along with everyone and be as polite as possible. She gets excited over a lot of childish reasons and beams with happiness if she discovers anything that is even somewhat new. Although she is a raider, she is one of the more clumsy ones, it’s hard for her to be still and perfect for a long time. She can accomplish it but more than once has she let some sort of prey escape her because she had to fidget in some way. Even so, hunting is one of the things she can actually concentrate on, even if it isn’t as long as it should be she loses her patience with most things in a short while. Although while hunting she is very focused but towards the end of the day she can goof up a bit and eventually give up. She is scared of the dark as most cats are, but as soon as the sun is even close to setting she will demand hurrying home as soon as possible. She does not want to be found outside during the dark, she’s had a few run-ins with the infected and it has not been pretty. She loses any courage she might have mustered up facing an opponent and simply freezes in fear. Basically the she-cat is very lively and friendly to all sorts of cats, although, she does have a bad side. If you manage to anger her in some way, she will flip, and bad, it takes tons of convincing and begging and all sorts of things to stop her when she is angry, except afterwards she will feel ashamed and apologize.

Rate: We were very close, he was older than me by a several months. He taught me all I know today, and helped me through when mom was gone. I was powerless to help him in the end, and still wonder if he is alive today, he is the only reason that I stay up at night and wish to venture outside into the dark. I still miss his company even when I'm surrounded by a gang, I don't think I'll ever be fully complete without him.
Victor: He's awesome! I had a pretty nice talk with him despite being in separate gangs and all! I approve of his attitude because he doesn't seem to wallow in despair and looks like he just wants to succeed! It was also one of my first encounter's with a Suran member but it was definitely a pleasant one!
Ceylon: It was nice hunting with him! He seemed generally friendly and I enjoyed his company, and he taught me how to hunt birds! I've never hunted on the rooftops before but it was definitely fun!

Brief History: As a kitten, Chai constantly shadowed her older brother Rate. They weren’t born together since their parents first litter had Rate, and all her other siblings were either born stillborn or died weeks or days after being born. Their second litter they had only produced Chai, assuming it was just meant to be this way they settled with just two kittens. Later on, their father said his goodbyes and said he was going to find something better, and left the three to defend for themselves. The mother wanting to preserve her child’s innocence never told Chai about the infected and why the night world was so dangerous, Rate being older already knew. After months of hunting in the daylight and keeping everything as it was their mother didn’t come home one day before sunset. Chai was puzzled, her mother was never late but asked no questions about it. Rate, already knew the answer. She had warned him that one day she might not come home, she didn’t know when it would happen, but she said she was sure it would. She told the boy not to go and search for her, for it was far too dangerous. Instead, he would wait until dawn, he and Chai should go and find other cats to stay with, it was the only way their safety would be guaranteed. Although this was not directed by his mother, Rate sat his sister down and told her everything that had been hidden from her. He also told her that if they were to be caught by an infected cat, that she should run away, and to never look back. Just to keep going in search of more cats. After following a few scents for several days and hiding in the most horrid but safe places during the night the two were discovered. At first they both attempted to run and find something safe, but it was no use, the infected just wouldn’t give up. Rate fell back to deal with the cat. Chai kept run as she was told to do so thousands of times, after being out of breath, she glanced behind her, and began walking back. Her brother would come back, wouldn’t he? She knew he would, he wouldn’t be defeated by something like this. After retracing her footsteps, she found the two cats collapsed over each other, Rate, still alive but breathing heavily. He was covered in blood and wounds, he opened his eyes as soon as her heard her. He told her she should leave, now, but was glad that he would be dead soon, and she wouldn’t have to worry about him coming in the night for her. He was glad he had managed to protect her, but told her she had to be on her own from now on and find the other cats quickly. Chai watched her brother breathe a few more heavy breathes before leaving, several days of running and hiding brought her to Cahaya. She was covered in mud and completely exhausted, the cats took her in immediately after she explained the situation.
Still, she is sure her brother had not died that day, she was sure he was alive, yet she knew it wasn’t he who lived. It was the infected who lived, the soulless who cared little about her, not the brother who had made sure his sister got to their destination safely.

Roleplay Example: The cat took care not to step on any debris that lay on the ground, not the dull leaves that littered over it, or any of the rubble that lay about. Just the solid ground. She paused for a moment watching her surroundings, is he out there? She thought, hiding from the light as I hide from the darkness? She frowned, he himself had believed he was about to die. But she wouldn’t take that, he had to be alive, even if he was infected. She shooed the thought away, she had to concentrate. She was supposed to find food for the gang, to keep it alive, to keep everyone inside it safe and happy. She moved forward quietly, this gang was all she had, and since joining she was determined not to let anyone go due to something such as lacking food. She had seen several go to the infected, but she had never allowed it for hunger. She didn’t always find food, but tried her best to try and find something. Food was definitely scarce here, she and the rest of the raiders often had trouble finding a simple mouse to bring back. Even being best at what they did, it was tough. Some days they found nothing, and then hunger drove them all instead of determination. She twitched her ears, everything was quiet, not a single peep came from the area. She shook her head and kept moving, her eyes quickly falling to the ground before her and letting her ears take over for awhile. She paused entirely when the small scuffling steps of a mouse echoed not too far off, she moved quickly then. Still quietly, but much faster. When it’s brown fur was spotted she stopped and her body found itself in a hunting crouch, ever so gently she moved forward. She would not lose this one. She eased over to her prey until the perfect moment, once she was there she pounced. She flung herself at the tiny creature and her jaws quickly found themselves around its neck. It was over just like that, she flicked her tail, straightened her position and started heading back.

Re-did her stuff because I'm not the best at roleplaying a type of cat like how she used to be, and I was getting kind of tired of all the black on her. So I added the brown around her eyes and such ^^
