Description
probably the worst tutorial in the world I had noidea what I was doing hereIf you have questions, go ahead.
ok, if you can't read my awesomely terrible
hand-writing, I will write it all here :3
"OK, when I draw a head, The middle of the eyes become the middle of the whole head.
I usually draw the muzzle thing first, even id the character doesn't have one per-say, it's my guideline to keeping the per-portions.
And all depending on what you want your guy to look like in the end, a fuzzy muzzle, no muzzle, pointier chin, Hug spines on its head.
I almost always start with one of these blanc heads.
And although mobian heads look nothing like human heads I still try to keep the per-portions of a human face, minus the eyes and ears.
I, Myself never use circles or lines to draw my characters.
(Those how-to-draw books never made sense to me)
But I know a few people who do.
So I drew the bottom head using circles, and drew lines on the other two.
POSES. ARE. HARD!
Don't come up to me saying
"How do you do poses so well?"
because I rack my brain for hours thinking them up!
it doesn't come very naturally!
But what helps me, is to think of the characters personality, and then think of how it would react in a certain situation.
If it's a really bubbly personality, and you told it to pose for the camera, it would most likely be in a standing pose with it's arms in a gesture of some kind, and maybe even one foot is popped up behind it.
and it would be smiling.
So the pic of the scared guy,
shows he could have a timid, kind and maybe slightly paranoid personality.
and there's a bunch of drawings of random bodyshapes and whatnot.
if you have questions, go ahead.

It's not a question but... In real, your tutorial is really helpful. The only thing I have to practice is the hands.

Pretty cool tutorial, personally I prefer to stick closer to the games when drawing Mobians, but your way works too ^^
I'd like to say here though, that anatomy is one of the main ways to differentiate a Mobian from Klonoa, Klonoa's anatomy is a fair bit more humanoid compared to a Mobian's, and to be honest this looks like more of a tutorial on how to draw Klonoa-styled characters than Mobians to me.

yeah, My style evolved a bit,
I want it to be more mobian as opposed to more Klonoa, kinda like I wan't to make my gijinkas either more human or more anthro (I can't decide)
but still, I like the Klonoa style.

Heh I see, well for starters the body should be smaller, the characters should not have visible necks and the arms and legs should be thinner. Remember, Mobians unless older (Vanilla, Vector) are around 2 heads high.

thanx, although there I like things about my mobians are currently.
I will try to make the bodies smaller, and the arms and legs will adjust once I do,
but I've always drawn the necks. not likely for that to change.
