Chapter 3
A Mysterious Propechy
Jade was in front of a bird. It had about 7 colors on it and there was a rainbow behind it. The pokemon had a golden glow around it. It spread its wings and let out a screech. Jade covered her ears, then stood up when it stopped.

"Jade."

"How do you know my name?"

"I know both you and your past. You were, and still are, chosen."

"Why am I here?"

"I have something to tell you."

He blinked and his whole eyes became gold. He screeched again, making Jade fall to the ground and cover her ears again. She growled at him when he stopped, but calmed down as he spoke.

"While there are twins and creatures of evil, the darkness shall stop the shadows..."

Jade woke up as the pokemon screeched again. She blinked, then realized that the pokemon she saw in her dream was Ho-oh! But why was he visting her? She sighed and looked up at the stars. Her past was still foggy, but how did this Ho-oh know her past? Did he know all of the questions she was asking herself?

She rubbed her head and yawned. So many things had been happing so fast. In fact, she had heard that the electric types had started getting infected, which put Bell and Zapper in more danger. She saw the sun rising in the distance. A walk wouldn't hurt. It could ease her troubled mind. She got up and walked off, trying to figure out what that Ho-oh meant by the darkness stopping the shadows.

Jade wasn't the only one with a troubled mind. Silver was being haunted by old memories. He remembered how his Lugia had tried to kill him and his girlfriend. He was sure that his girlfriend was dead. A crazy thought went across his mind. What if Jade was his old girlfriend? They shared the same name.

No. She had a different personality. His girlfriend had a more cheerful personality and he was sure that Jade would know who he was if she was his girlfriend. He sighed and wanted the old days back. Jade, the human, had changed him from a pokemon-hating boy to one of the most respected people in Johto.

Tears stared welling up in his eyes. "Why... Why did he have to ruin all of this? I wake up to find out that I'm a pokemon and there's some kind of shadow infection going around. Arceus... Why are you screwing with my life? I've turned good... But still, why do I feel so gulity?"

Mary was having a nightmare. She hated killing her father. The scene played in her mind over and over again. She aslo saw her killing her mom then sucking the soul out of her lifeless body, before it could go to Arceus. Mary growled at herself in her sleep. So many lost souls... So many empty bodies... It was all of her fault...

She woke up in a cold sweat. Guilt washed over the young Nighteon. She didn't even want to evolve into Nighteon. She wanted to be a Flareon, but she stumbled across a Dusk Stone by mistake. After she evolved, she knew she could get revenge on her bullies.

When she was an Eevee, the very tips of her ears were red. May saw that and thought that she was sent from Dark Cloud by the Evil Giratinia there to destroy them all. Many teased her and some even tried to kill her.

Only after she became a Nighteon that she wanted revenge. Only after she became a Nighteon that she wanted to kill. Only after she became a Nighteon, she killed many. She cried herself back to sleep. Maybe she was going to destroy everyone.

"Stop it Bell!"

"You stop it Zapper!"

"Ow! Don't bite my tail!"

"I can all I want! You don't have normal eyes!"

"And you don't have the two brown stripes on your back that all pikachu have!"

"You said that you wouldn't mention that!"

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP BEFORE I ICE BEAM BOTH OF YOU!"

"Yes Silver..."

"Sorry Silver..."

"Silver... You didn't have to make a threat."

"It's the only way to shut those two up sometimes Jade." He chuckled lightheartedly.

Mary yawned and sniffed the air, then she growled. Everyone got into attack position. A Riolu with jagged teeth and a scar on his nose walked out of the woods. A smug smile was on his face. Jade gasped. This Riolu looked so familar, but why? She was broken out of her thoughts by Silver attacking the Riolu. The pokemon quickly dodged and pinned Silver down.

"I was sure that Slash killed you... At least your girlfriend is dead!"

"HE KILLED HER?! WHY YOU LITTLE SELF CENTERED SON OF A B-....... YOU WERE HER POKEMON! WHY DID YOU PLOT TO KILL US?!"

"It's very simple... Both of you were going to stop us if we let you live... But, without Jade, you're WORHTLESS!"

He used Focus Punch on Silver and everyone jumped at the Riolu. His movements were fast, but he couldn't dodge Team ShadowStoppers forever, could he? The Riolu pinned Jade down and charged up Metal Claw.

"I, Aura the Riolu, shall kill you all!"

Jade saw Aura run away. She wanted to chase after him, but stopped herslef. It was no use. She was too weak now. The Riolu had put up a good fight. She tried to step over to Silver, but collasped and blacked out.

She woke up in Silver's arms. The red Sneasel had one eye closed, blood running from above it. Jade licked the blood off, making Silver gasp.

"You're awake Jade!"

"I am... Where are we?"

"We managed to move about 10 miles. I think. I was never good with distance..." An embarassed smile filled his face as he placed her down.

Mary walked up to both of them. "We might as well set up camp. Zapper's pretty hurt."

"Okay..."

They set up camp and fell asleep. In the middle of the night, Zapper woke up. He decided to go for a walk, somehow full of energy. His wounds were bad, but he felt no pain. Why? He started coughing. He gasped when blue blood came up. He took a step back in horror. What about Bell? Jade? Silver? Mary? Not now... He didn't want this to happen, EVER! He ran off, wanting to cry but no tears falling down.
