I did this for warm up and to practice movement, like the title says. I've been thinking lately about Saturn a lot, and how much of an awesome character she is. That is, if she had been allowed more screen time to show it xD (She demonstrated her skills/powers in what, 3 episodes? It's been years since I watched the series.)I think she'd be pretty agile, almost like a gymnast, using her glaive as additional momentum for attacks. Come to think of it, she does that in the manga, right? >_>
The panels below are just how I imagined she doing one such thing
She's in her Silver Millennium (?) version...because it's cooler. I like one sketch enough to maybe make it full-blown finished product but that's probably wayyy down the line/the future.Done with a new Permawriter pen I bought to check it out. Colors overlaid in Photoshop.

I think the movement in these is really well done. They quickly get to the "point." Were you going for accurate anatomy too? Just asking since some of the limbs are a bit awkward. For example, the first full body seems to be split into two different planes. The torso is viewed straight on/normal eye-level but her legs seem to be viewed from the top down, as if she should be jumping towards us.
The waist-up shots are AWESOME! (especially the one with the Glaive thrown into the sky). <3
I can really see the power in her movement in those panels. Very intense! :3 (I think gymnast!Saturn is pretty accurate. She could be an Olympian here)

Haha, I messed up one leg on the first full body, so I tried to fix it xP I was trying to not worry on whether it was correct anatomy or not, but rather conveying a sense of movement first. That fluidity without worrying if the arm's in the right place and whatnot 
I'm glad you see power in these ;__; She's easily one of the most powerful Senshi. There's a reason why she tends to be paired with Moon in any illustrations related to S or them both 
Hahahahaha XD Maybe in May or June, closer to the airdate for the new anime...if it ever airs 8D;;

True story, man. She had so much potential and they just didn't use her very much. I would really like to re-watch the S season, though, since I remember loving it but can't remember much of it. I think I actually saw most of it dubbed >_<;;

Season S is my absolute fave of all the seasons <3 It had some of the best animation for SM ever, great iconic scenes, music (Tuxedo Mirage!) and honestly, some of the best stories. You could say it was because of the presence of the Outers and certainly that helped 
I first saw it subbed...the dubbing was not good, and this is from someone who first saw SM dubbed on tapes XD I only recognized two of the original VAs in the new S dub.

Yes, absolutely. It'll be interesting to see who fights for dubbing rights for the new anime in the States...
