2023 is the year of the Water Rabbit according to Chinese Zodiac, so I wanted to try painting something around that concept. This took days to design and finish ToT. I really want that mask though, ngl. I tried to incorporate the Rabbit's lucky colors red, pink and purple into her outfit too. PSD with labeled layer setup for this is in the attachments on my Patreon if you want to see what modes are being used for the shadow and light and how the water rabbits and junk are being set up. Also, I made a new hair brush, so that's going to be in the attachments too for anyone who wants it, since I got sick of having to use two different brushes and smudge to get this soft look. The light kind of kills the detail in this piece, but I'm a lot happier with the new brush.
