Great job on the hair and clothes. I especially like how you captured the line of his smile.

He played the character very well and he made him attractive, in the physical as well as personality aspects. Very good picture, looks just like him.

I love it! The Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens version of Jane Eyre was my favorite. The book and movie completely blew me away. This picture is pretty much perfect! I love the expression you gave him!

Thanks very much! This is also my favourite version, but did you see the one with timothy Dalton? He wasn't a bad Rochester also!

IndigoSkyes In reply to Jafean [2008-02-06 02:04:25 +0000 UTC]

No, I haven't, actually. Is it good? I looked at clips of all the different versions, but that one was still my favorite!

The problem is that it's quite an old one and you see the difference...I liked Dalton's Rochester very much, even if I prefered Toby'one! But if you have the occasion, see it!

Yeah, old-fashioned movies are one thing, but old-fashioned movies made the old-fashioned way is another! (I'm not making any sense today, am I?) Thanks for the recommendation!

Lol. I'm in the middle of exams so I'm quite in stress, and do not have a lot of time for drawing...and that's annoying me a lot!
Anyway, thanks for asking

Wonderful work! Toby Stephens changed my entire outlook on Rochester, and you totally captured him. I like that he looks a little more sedate/relaxed... A nice change from the tormented/badass side of him.

Heh...I'm a big fan of Charlotte Bronte, but I haven't read Emily Bronte's novel, Wuthering Heights yet. I've heard it's good.

It's really really good. Darker than Jane Eyre, but such a passionnate love story...And Heathcliff is gorgeous! You should read it quickly

Oh, of Jane Eyre? Jane Eyre is soap-opera-y, but the writing is quite nice. Jane is passionate about things but she has learned to hold back throughout the years at Lowood. Lowood sucks.

Thank you very much. I'm also a great fan of the book and the new version is wondeful for people like us! I was not very pleased with his face, because I didn't manage to do the so typical smile of Toby...Anyway, if you like it, I'm glad to hear it!
