I will never get over how different KMP meerkats look from the meerkats I've seen at Hogle Zoo. It's not just their weight, their entire anatomy seems to be different.

Mauer here is underweight even for a wild meerkat. It was not a good time to be a meerkat at the KMP last year

That's awful. D: It's cool you get to see them though. owo
But really, when I see meerkats at the zoo, I can't put the two together, they look so much more compact, with different porportions (particularly body length the leg length)
That's just me though. I only care because I draw meerkats and anatomy is hard. xD
