The anonymous dA membership I was given a little while ago really got me in the mood to start making and posting more art. So here's a silly MGS comic strip that I've had laying around the house for nearly a year unfinished and, well, I've finished it!It'd take a hardcore fan to get all of the subtle jokes in this, but even if you aren't heavily into it or haven't even played the MGS series, it should still be amusing.
To my fellow watchers and random people passing by my gallery, I hope you enjoy my take on some of the silliness that makes MGS what it is!

I laughed so hard at this. AND THE THIRD ONE IS SO TRUE!! I mean, Colonel Volgin! How many times do you kill him?
Let's list it!
- He gets blown up in the factory.
- He chases you in the Shagohod, you blow the bridge out from underneath it; felling it into a ravine.
- You disable the Shagohod
- THEN HE GETS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING AND FINALLY DIES.
Did I miss anything? I probably did!!

But at least MGS4 explained it... kinda.

Hehehe, yeah. They pretty much explained every major plot point with "nano-machines." I still love the series, but it seemed to me like that was a cheap way out of explaining something. I think they built it up to be too complex and couldn't explain it themselves, so they were like "hey, nano-machines are convincing! We'll go with that! YEAH!"

I know. Everything is nanomachines... except Raiden, who magically turns from a wimp to a drunk to a ninja cyborg badass. I still hate how the fight between him and Vamp ended...
