Description
The video game Radiata Stories for PS2 didn't get much attention back in 2005 when it came out. I'm actually a pretty big fan of the game, I think it was a very special gem... the only thing I didn't care for in the game was the fact that almost every single armor you could get in the game looked kinda dorky. So I've decided to give the characters a cool new modern look! The boy is Jack Russell and the girl is Ridley Silverlake. I'm very happy with the way their outfits look, although I think my version of Ridley looks too close to female Naruto...
Truthfully, I did this drawing mostly as an excuse to draw a chainlink fence. I didn't even do it very well since I didn't use a ruler (I was feeling lazy), but I think it still looks alright and there's really no such thing as a fence that is perfectly symmetrical. So I guess it's all good!
Radiata Stories may not have a very thick plot, but the thing that I like about it is that it practically eliminates the "non-playable character" seen in just about every game. There's up to 177 possible characters you can recruit in your team. After a while I sorta lost interest in the story because I was too obsessed with bugging people to join my group! Hehehe...
I drew this with a V5 Precise pen, bold outlining done with a black Pentel pen and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.

In modern times they are not holding sword again LOL.
Hot Jack! If that costume is already at the game, of course I use it

It's a cool idea, and the artwork is great, I just don't think it looks like them.... I don't think they'd look like that today. *shrug*

I didn't mean to be too critical, if it offended you. =X I only meant to say that I couldn't imagine them looking like that. I think Jack would be more... Childishly gallant, than sk8r. *snaps fingers* Something a little like a younger James Rhoday. And I don't really know for Ridley, but I think she'd be a bit more shy, and not so outspoken. =/
Again, sorry if I offended, I really didn't mean to. D=

I'm not offended, it's your personal opinion and that's fine. In my drawing though, I was just messing around and didn't want to draw a predictable picture of Ridley or Jack.

well, it's amazing. And you draw damn straight lines w/o a ruler, too! The shading and the perspective are wonderful. Great job!
btw, i haven't been on in FOREVER. I kinda got busy (right now I'm failing my physics course... heh. ), and i, uh...
sorta forgot my password. XD

Hehehe, haven't seen you in a while! I'm happy you like this so much, it took me forever to draw and not using a ruler was a really bad idea... It's not really noticiable, but this piece is riddled with flaws.
Well, glad to see you back on DA and thanks for the nice comment!

Just yesterday I got a small start on my secret project. It's going to take me a long ass time, but if it turns out the way I've planned, it'll be worth the wait.
Other than that, all I've been doing for the last few days is watch weird Asian movies on crunchyroll.com.
Here's some of the movies I watched:
-Shutter
-Sars Wars
-Sick Nurses
-The Quiet Family
-The Happiness of the Katakuris
-The Red Shoes
I'm about to run off and watch some more movies soon. I've had a massive craving for Asian movies this whole week...
Other than that, not much has happened her other than the fact I finally got some cool stuff I ordered on Amazon. That's about it.

That was only a list of like 6 movies, that's nothing! I can watch 6 movies in one day if I'm bored enough and still have time for work. Other than work I really don't have anything to do, so I find myself watching a lot of Asian movies on crunchyroll.com.
Oh and just yesterday I watched these movies:
-Electric Dragon 80,000 volts
-Ring Virus
-Yes I See Dead People
I was going to watch the movie Meatball Machine today, but I got distracted... Oh well! Next time!

Yeah, the title perked my interest. It's about alien viruses controlling humans, twisting their bodies and forcing them into gory combat. It sounded cheesy and fun, I'll probably watch it next time I'm not distracted. But all the movies I've mentioned are available to watch for free on crunchyroll.com, if you have time you should check it out. There's enough awesome Asian stuff to last a lifetime there!

Oh but I watched to spectacular movies yesterday!!! I watched "13 Beloved" and "The Eye 10." I can't even begin to tell you how cool they were, especially 13 Beloved. It had one of the best ending twists EVER!

I would love to tell you about 13 Beloved but it's better appreciated if you watch the whole movie for yourself. It starts out a little slow but it quickly becomes very shocking and I was on the edge of my seat through practically the whole movie!
Washington climate depends on where in the state you live. In my area and pretty much the whole eastern half of Washington has a dry desert climate and rarely sees rain, our summers are very plesant (rarely gets above 100 degrees) and we have mild winters (rarely goes below 7 degrees). I live in a little valley town directly in the middle of Washington and it's very nice.
Areas out on the west side of the state (over the mountains) are typically VERY rainy and humid. That's why Seattle is known as the Emerald City, they get a rediculous amount of rain all year round. There's even a few rainforests over there. I don't go to the west side very often, the only times I do are to go to conventions or just to go shopping in Seattle. But 90% of the time when I go there it's raining... Still worth visiting though! It's a kick ass city! I personally just wouldn't want to live with that kind of rain all the freakin' time. I hope I was informative enough.

...wow, yeah, that's informative.
I love love LOVE rain, though, so I might wanna live outside of Seattle...
or in it, if I work there, though I'm not much of a city person... hmmmm...?
13 Beloved... sounds interesting. Maybe I can check it out!
(heh, I have very limited access to computers, and ...*sigh.*... yeah. )

Well I know my buddy =black-rose-falling lives in a nice place just outside of Seattle. It's not overly populated, from what she's told me, it sounds quite enjoyable and is within a nice driving distance from Seattle. I plan on staying at her place next year when I go to Sakuracon, her parents said I could use their spare bed room! That'll save me a ton on hotel costs.
If you like the rain, then anywhere on the west side of the mountains would probably work for you. The ocean storms don't really cross the mountains. Oh and the winters and summers on the west side are even milder than eastern Washington.

I don't remember the name of her area, but she works in Seattle and from what she's told me it sounds like it's a very reasonable drive to work. I guess I'll find out for myself when I stay with her for a weekend during the convention next year in April.
