This is the third installment of my Shippuuden series. I know all of my friends here really like this little series I'm working on and I hope that everyone will like this one too! I drew this with a V5 Pentel black ink pen and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.
Just like the last few, there's sort of a story to what's going on in the picture. You can read what each character is thinking/saying below. Umm... a lot of these jokes you might not get unless you are a gamer. But I hope everyone gets a good laugh anyways!
ROCK LEE: "I'm in your base, killing your dudes."
PAKKUN: "Gaara, you really should turn off "God-mode..."
GAARA: "Blog this! Bitches!"
NARUTO: "Headshot! Believe it!"
SASUKE: "I'd rather be playing Hello Kitty's Cube Frenzy."

This picture is sort of based on a true story from my life. I used to go to a lot of LAN (Local Area Network) parties with my gamer friends. But as always, the gamer girl of the group usually gets left out of all the fun and I'd get stuck watching tv because they didn't bring an extra computer for me...
A long time ago there was a guy I was dating and his grandmother was moving to a new house. Apparently she had already paid for the next month's rent on the appartment she was moving out of. She said that we could use it for that whole month if we wanted, so a large mob of gamers took over the appartment. This picture is basically what it looked like.
We crammed computers in every possible place imaginable! I always got left out (even though I'm a great gamer) and so I would always bring a Playstation 1 and take over the tv. That was back when I first bought the game The Legend of Dragoon and Jade Cocoon. Occationally the guys would challenge me to a game of Tekken 3 or Distrega but normally they were always playing among themselves in Starcraft or Unreal Tournament.
I mostly made this drawing because it reminds me of many amusing/nerdy memories.

Oh and yes, the drinks next to Sasuke is the awesome soda "Bawls!" The popular drink among nerds and the official drink of Quakecon! Soooo tasty...

I mentioned it in my artist's comments, LAN means "Local Area Network." It's basically just a large number of computers all linked to each other through a hub. Offices and internet cafes are a good example of this, and a "LAN party" is where a bunch of geeks link up all of their computers and play in various competitive games such as Quake, Unreal Tournament, Starcraft and so on... Hope that clears it up a little for you, it often helps to be a nerd in order to understand my jokes.

Ditto about the games! I just play by myself now because all of my gamer friends have moved away. So it's just me and my true love, the PS2. I'll tell you a little spoiler about the 4th installment for my Shippuuden series though, the theme is "spin the bottle." I'm almost done with it, I'm just finishing the coloring.

That's why I went with the anime style, it's much more fun than the traditional western style. Also, anime people have lots of interesting angular bodies similar to dragons, so it was a natural transition for me.

Yay! You know, this is actually part 3 to my little Shippuuden fan art series. I really need to make some more soon... I've already got a couple of themes in mind though, I just need to sit down and do them!
But I've always believed that girls are better gamers simply because of the pure determination we have in beating the boys! I always got left out and had to sit in front of the tv while all the guys play their games... just like Sakura in this picture. Bastards! Thanks for the fav though!

Well I'm back from the con! You can expect me to be posting some pictures of me running around as Light/Raito Yagami from Death Note and my friend who shared a hotel room with me dressed as Mello! Everything was as good and even better than I expected. I'll also be writing up a journal entry soon about all the things that happened at the con if you're currious.

Well I wrote up a big ass journal entry about every little detail about my experience at Sakuracon and the fun I had around Seattle. One thing that was unbelievably awesome was the fact that on my first night in Seattle some random woman gave a friend and I her sushi, it was the biggest order of sushi I'd ever seen in my life! My favorite Death Note characters are Light, L, Matt and Rem.
I'm hoping to go back in the future, if you can ever make it you'll have to let me know and maybe we could meet up and hang out for a bit! I know of a great sushi place that's only like 3 blocks from the convention center.

I'm a big sushi fan, but even more than that, I'm obsessed with unatoma don! Unatoma don is a fried eel and egg dish with lots of rice. I'm not even fond of eggs, but somehow it works perfectly in that dish. I've never had kimpa though, but I'm pretty open to new foods and would give it a shot!
Oh and yes I know of Ninja Warrior, I watch it quite frequently. Although I haven't been watching it for the last couple of weeks only because I've been kinda busy...

kimpa is actually like korean sushi... the veggie type is my favorite, but i haven't been able to make it for weeks because i haven't gotten around to getting the ingredients (you can only get them at a certain korean store here).

My favorite guys on Ninja Warrior are Shingo Yamamoto and Nagano Makoto, they are awesome!
The only Korean dish I've had is Kimchi which I really like. Although I love spicy foods, lately I haven't been able to eat as much because I've been getting tremendous heart burn from it and it makes me sad...
Umm... other foods I like? Well my all time favorite food would be just a giant steak with a large serving of fries. But that doesn't sound very adventurous, does it?
I like all sorts of curry dishes and every type of sushi I've ever had I've loved. I have a heavily fish based diet although my mom hates the stuff, I have to eat it in my room because the smell makes her sick. My idea of a snack would be eatting a can of smoked oysters because I'm just weird like that. Other snacks I really like are octapus flavored chips, Hello Panda and pretzels. Pretzels sounds pretty ordinary but it really is the best food for when you're playing video games, they don't get your controllers all messy which is a very good thing!
One of my favorite drinks is Chaokoh, it's a very tasty coconut drink from Thailand. I get it at a local shop in their Asian food section. Since I live in Washington state, we normally have a good selection of Asian foods since we have such a high Asian population (at least 50% of our tourists are people from either Japan or China).

Salmon is a pretty big thing up here in Washington, so you wouldn't have to go far to find it fresh and cheap if you lived around here. When I was little I used to hear old Indian folk stories, I was once told about before the Dams were built the rivers used to be so full of salmon that you could walk across their backs to get to the other side of the river.
I definately have a heavily meat based diet though and eatting fish in my room isn't a bad thing. My room is pretty cool, it's the perfect hang out for gamers/anime nerds. If you ever find yourself in my area I'll let you try some of the foods I've mentioned!

Oh man, I thought every anime fan knew what the word "otaku" ment... it's just a Japanese word for someone with an extreme fandom for something. That fandom can be anything like anime, movies, action figures, comic books, video games, celebrities and so on.
I don't talk fast though, I'm not a hyper person unless I'm put in a situation that calls for it (like an anime convention for example).

Not everyone knows what otaku really means though, if you talk to an anime fan about it they think it ONLY means a "fan of anime." But now you know the truth, it just means someone who is a mega fan of something else. It's not specifically anime, it can be anything.
